Burning Fields - May 2011

After the wheat harvest, it's time to burn off the stalks and straw. Arden likes burning as much as her Nanna!


Got the fire started then had to put out the fringes where it spread into the grass. 
There it goes!



Uh, Arden....pay attention...quit texting....the fire is sneaking up behind you!

The Mighty Mississippi River reached record levels since recorded history, cresting at Natchez, Mississippi / Vidalia, Louisiana at 61.9 feet on May 19, 2011.
